Dr Naushad (Nash) Ahamed
Radiologist | Director
Dr Naushad (Nash) Ahamed is the Founder and Director of i3 Radiology, bringing over a decade of experience providing diagnostic and interventional radiology services to the Illawarra community.
Passionate about delivering exceptional patient care, Dr Nash established i3 Radiology with a vision of creating a modern, radiologist-led practice where patients and referrers receive timely access to high-quality imaging and personalised care. He has a particular interest in image-guided interventional procedures, working closely with patients and referring clinicians to deliver minimally invasive treatments with precision and compassion.
Known for his approachable nature and commitment to excellence, Dr Nash values building strong relationships with patients and health professionals. His philosophy is centred on combining clinical expertise with genuine compassion, ensuring every patient feels informed, supported, and confident throughout their healthcare journey.
Mia
Practice Manager
As Practice Manager at i3 Radiology, Mia has played a pivotal role in bringing the practice to life from the very beginning. Entrusted with helping transform a vision into reality, she has overseen everything from clinic operations and accreditation to marketing, business development, and patient experience, ensuring every detail reflects i3 Radiology’s commitment to exceptional care. Passionate about creating a welcoming environment, Mia believes every patient should feel supported from the moment they walk through the door. Outside of work, Mia enjoys staying active at the gym, running and shopping.
Elise
Manager
Elise brings a warm, welcoming presence to i3 Radiology and is passionate about creating a positive experience for every patient who walks through our doors. Having transitioned from hospitality into medical imaging, she quickly discovered a genuine interest in radiology and has developed a real appreciation for both the profession and the people she meets every day. Elise enjoys working closely with patients and her colleagues, taking pride in providing friendly, high-quality service. She believes every patient should feel safe, comfortable, and greeted with a smile from the moment they arrive at the clinic. Outside of work, Elise loves spending time outdoors, catching up with family and friends and going for walks – especially if there’s a coffee at the end!
Sean
Sonographer
Sean holds a Bachelor of Applied Science (Medical Imaging) and a Diploma of Medical Ultrasound, bringing a strong clinical background and genuine passion for patient care to i3 Radiology. Sean enjoys the diagnostic nature of ultrasound and finds great satisfaction in helping identify the cause of a patient’s symptoms and supporting them on their journey towards recovery. He believes that while healthcare can often feel intimidating, every patient deserves to feel comfortable, supported, and cared for throughout their experience. Outside of work, Sean enjoys long walks along the beach with his wife and dogs, spending time with family and friends over a BBQ, and fitting in a round of golf whenever he can.
Wendy
Radiographer
Wendy graduated with a Bachelor of Medical Radiation Science (Medical Imaging) and is passionate about delivering high-quality patient care through diagnostic imaging. She enjoys meeting people from all walks of life and finds it especially rewarding to help patients feel comfortable during their visit, knowing the images she captures play an important role in guiding their care and treatment. Inspired by her own experiences as a patient following two ACL reconstruction surgeries as a teenager, Wendy developed a deep appreciation for the impact medical imaging has on diagnosis and recovery. That experience sparked her passion for radiography and continues to shape her compassionate approach to patient care today. Outside of work, Wendy enjoys reading, crocheting, and caring for her growing succulent collection. She is also bilingual and can speak both English and Mandarin, helping her connect with an even broader range of patients.

Anita holds a Bachelor of Medical Radiation Science (Honours) and is passionate about providing high-quality imaging with a strong focus on patient care. She finds the greatest reward in helping patients and takes pride in serving the community through compassionate, professional healthcare.Anita believes that every patient deserves to be welcomed with warmth, kindness, and exceptional service. She is committed to ensuring each person who visits i3 Radiology feels comfortable, respected, and well cared for throughout their experience. Outside of work, Anita enjoys reading autobiographies and watching action movies.
